You know a saying that said, "curiosity kills cat"? I should not follow my curiosity into further but I just can't help it, though I have to wake up earlier today, I spend all the night reading articles and watching some extreme porn videos. Why? I was simply intrigued by it, despite the fact that I live in a very typical Asian lifestyle that consider sex as taboo topic to talk to.
When I was in second grade of college, I watched a BDSM video, not a full video but only trailer, because we need to pay to watch the full videos of it. At first I was at loss and disgusted by the film, but then I realize that sex is not just a sexual intercourse that you better wear condom otherwise you might get pregnant. I realize that sex is more than just that.
I don't know which one is better to describe my curiosity toward sex. The important thing is that we lack information and knowledge about it, i never learned about it in high school, all i have heard in sex education probably only the very top of it, and a warning not to get raped. So to the satisfaction of my curiosity, I browse all the articles on the internet, although i still think that the information wasn't sufficient, instead, there's still a lot more of it.
After I found out BDSM, I learned things about it, how they enslaved people, and how their punishments are, also all the stuffs they need to perform BDSM. And they have it in amazon.com if you want to buy it. But as long as im concerned, I know that the safety is guaranteed in the perform of BDSM. You know, like flogging or cat of nine-tails. It wasn't the real flogger, they used to have to punish people.
I bought 50 shades of grey, not that I like about it, but again I blame my curiosity. I haven't read the whole book, but one of my friend's teacher said that the book is just like the adult-magazine. So I would rather read some BDSM porn haha!
My friend also told me about snuff-film. you might not watch it, for the people perform a sexual activity by taking pleasure on killing someone.
But yesterday, I have just found something disturbing that shocked me.
You might have heard of Marquis de Sade, a libertine, a philosopher, a writer of many erotic-novel, from him the word 'sadism' come. I have heard of him, but I don't know any of his novel until yesterday, when I was reading the plot human centipede, one of the disturbing horror movie.
So the novel called, the 120 Days of Sodom. And an italian director has made it into movie in 1975 under the same name. But they often called it Salo.
The story is about 4 Libertines who captivate girls and boys to be their sex slave for about 5 months. In this period of time, they perform many extreme and fetish sexual activities such as, anal, flogging and whipping, not to mention, slaughter. (for more information here)
Only by reading the plot, my stomach is already getting sick. But my curiosity is getting stronger, I searched the film on youtube, and though youtube tend to ban all porn videos, they have this film. (caution, disturbing graphics!). All alone, i watched the movie incompletely.

And the images and also the ideas of the story haunted me through the night, until i have to listen to the sound of dolphin to calm me down.
Out there, I'm sure that there are typical situation, human-abduction, enslavement, and violence. But what I can not understand until now is the idea behind this activity.
Sade was a libertine. At first, I dont know what that is, but thanks to Internet, i managed to get some information about it. It is basically the idea of lawless and (possibly) absolute freedom, or lack of morality.
I'm the type of person who tend not to judge an idea only by read the description, I try to understand how could somebody think about this idea and what makes them think that the idea is good for them. While I always try to define what's good and what's bad, and I don't want to lean on my own perspective about it. And I believe that there's nothing called absolute evil and absolute divine in human's world.
But I can't actually understand libertine and all the activities performed in this novel or film. Though I could accept the BDSM porn film or novel. As long as they performed in safety ways. But I also could never understand snuff movie and all the murder-behavior. I would really thankful if somebody would explain to me. cos i still managed to get me some information about that by reading "the myth of evil" by Phillip Cole.
So after I watched this film, I think, why I never get to know this before? why won't somebody tell me before about this? I doubt if all my teachers know about this. But people should know about this.
because i think this could happen anytime, anywhere, by anyone, if we don't have even the idea about this, how should we prevent it?
I myself, couldn't agree about this behavior.
