I'm aware, tho, my grammar is not proper and has several errors, I still adore language and linguistic.
For me, language is not only tools for us to talk with each other, or to do a communication, but also a subject that makes me curious!
Talking about the topic of my thesis. My topic is elf. I will say it again, MY TOPIC IS ABOUT ELF. and my teacher has agreed. so im happy :D
I have several alternative topics.
One of them is the relation between grammar and the way of thinking its user. well~
it's been my favorite topic since i learn grammar.
But for now, i just want to give you several songs i have ever heard when i was a freshman in Wenzao. I spent my time learning chinese, and now, I could speak 4 languages. It amazes me, and i feel so proud with myself. Ich bin stolz auf mich selbst! :D
tho, tolkien is expert in many languages, to learn how to speak in 4 languages, just amazes me :D
now i know, indonesian, english, chinese, and german. and nothing would stop me to learn another language!!! :D
well, i just remember some good music, chinese music. to all of you who are now struggling with chinese! music could help you :D

Okay, to those who wants to learn about chinese, not only the language, but also the culture. you could start with the history of their dynasty. for me, i have enough remembering poem from tang dynasty! :D
but seriously, it's cool, indeed!!! i love chinese literature, story and poem!
But, you wont learn any chinese if you dont know nothing about THREE KINGDOMS, 三國!!
you could see that in the film called RED CLIFF.
so learn their history!
and also, if you dont know the difference between chinese and taiwan, please learn that from now, and remember that.
Taiwan, is republic of chine, not china itself. I dont really understand about politic between china and taiwan, but most of my taiwanese friends dont really like china. :D
but yeah, there are 1 film you have to watch if you love Taiwan.
Taiwan is still using traditional chinese, on the other hand, china use simplified.
when you ask me, which one is good.
I love traditional one. tho it is complicated.
but the simplified one is not complete. sometime, they loose the essential of the word.
for example, 愛 is traditional chinese, ai means love.
in china, 爱, it's simplified chinese, as you can see.
in traditional chinese, they put 心 (heart) inside. but in simplifed, they took away the 心.
well, i know the history when their leader or something want to make the word more simple so everyone could learn.
but still, im sorry, chinese word is the only word who has their special meaning, that makes it different. and i think, something essential in the word should stay the way they are :D
no offense,, buuut how could i wrote 個 in traditional chinese. when the simplified one is only 个!!!! -_______________- china, y u so easy!! :D

yes, china and taiwan has different accent. i love taiwan accent more, haha :D
okay, this film talked about the letters from a japanese for a taiwanese girl. It happened when japanese occupied taiwan, and when the boy has to leave taiwan, he also left the girl behind. and he wrote a letter, but the girl never received the letter.
years later, there's a boy who found the letters and decided to send it to the girl. In this process, he found and learn many thing :)

well, my last words. chinese is a cool language. it is hard, i tell you, it's not as easy as ching chong ling long ting tong. but it is fun to speak chinese, but it's hard to write it!
but dont worry, you will love it.
the reason why you should learn chinese is that so you could learn japanese and korean more easy :D
dude! linguistic!! you could learn as much language as you want. but you have to know something about it before you learn. language has close relation between culture and history :)
when you learn one language, remember to learn its culture and history. at least, you know something about it.
until then you could learn it well. as charlemagne note once, learn a second language is like possess a second soul. you know you have learned it well when you have your own style in that language. that takes time, but it's worth it!!! :D
