Still remember the post about me thinking of the topic for my thesis?
So these weeks, i've been busy doing homework, working, and studying for tests. Until my friend post something on facebook, She said, we have to decide the topic for thesis, and have to look for teacher to guide us.
Dann war ich gestresst! i was so stressed that i couldnt think of anything else but the topic for my thesis. I want to write something about literature or linguistic, but the topic would be too hard for me since i have to do the research in completing my writing.
I asked my parents via phone, they went to jogja this week, so it would be hard for me to reach them. -___-
I ask my mom to help me find a topic about whether linguistic or literature. but my parents are economic teacher, so that they just know a little about 'linguistic and literature'
until this wednesday, my friend said, you have to at least think about your topic, until then you could find the teacher and ask if they agree. so that i have to think while doing my final presentation for culture and civilization class. almost everyday, i have to sleep over 3 am in the morning. i was nearly exhausted.
But then this thursday i came with 5 topics in my head.
1. Elves in different european Mythology.
2. Mythology and its effect to the society.
3. The link between grammatical and the way of thinking (pardon my english please :D)
4. The link between multilingual ability and intelligence.
5. How fairy tale effects the society.
and then this thursday, i went to Armin, my culture and civilization teacher, and asked him whether he agreed to guide me. but then, he said, he specialized himself in business, politic, and environment and asked me to think over my topic. I said to him that i wanna do mythology, but, er weisst ueberhaupt nicht ueber mythologie. er hat gesagt dass ich muss Ingo fragen.
aber.... i was so nervous, my friend said, you have to find the teacher!!! otherwise you would never find any of them and couldnt do the thesis! okay just kill me already!
so i spent my thursday night thinking about my topic and the subtopic.
and find out how i insist to do the topic about mythology, so i called my mom and said, 'tomorrow i will find Christian, and ask him about my topic!'
but my mom said, "that's okay, just find another alternative topic!"
that scared me to death,
is there any one from the teacher who knows about MYTHOLOGY!
i find that there are too many people who care about business, politic, tourism, usw.
So today i woke up in angst. You know, confessing to a boy is so much easier than showing your topic to the teacher and asked them whether they agree to help you writing thesis! seriously!!
Boy is no more important at that time! :p
So, today i went to Christian's class holding my paper and the book about Elves. After he finished the class, I went and ask him,
Christian, ich moechte mit ihnen die abschlussarbeit machen, *with my broken german.
"Ja, dann mythologie is eine gute Thema, ja!"
ja, Ja, JA!!!!! he said JA :D
then i smiled like an idiot, ran like a fool. called my mom like i won a competition!
this was the best time in my life :p
So here the thesis goes,
My big title for my thesis,
"Elfen in der verschiedenen europaeischen Mythologie"
the first topic i choose.
Christian ist ein guter Lehrer!! :D

just wish me luck! i have to do the thesis until next november maybe!oooooohhhhh..
so finally, a teacher who knows something about ELF. he even asked, "magst du elfen!"
Ja, das ist eine gute Thema, das ist gut, Elfen, Ja!"
