薄霧濃雲愁永晝，瑞腦消金獸。
佳節又重陽，玉枕紗櫥，半夜涼初透。

東籬把酒黃昏後，有暗香盈袖。
莫道不消魂，簾卷西風，人比黃花瘦。

explanation (白話文)

薄霧才剛消散，又來了滿天濃雲……這愁人的白晝為什麼會那麼長啊！

連銅香鑪裡的香料也燒盡了。

重陽節又到了。現在每到夜深，陣陣涼意便會從白磁枕上，

薄紗帳外透到身上來了。

黃昏時分，我曾在東籬畔飲酒賞菊，衣袖裡好像仍注滿了醉人的幽香。

且別說此時此際可以暫時忘掉憂愁，當西風捲起簾子時，你可以看見，

簾內的人兒比簾外的菊花還要清瘦呢！
